New species of Microlepidoptera from Norfolk Island

Abstract:

Six new species of micro-moths are described from Norfolk Island, in the South Pacific: Monopis nigroleuca (Tineidae), Orthenches celeterica, Thecobrathra dilechria (Yponomeutidae), Imma celtiphaga (Immidae), Anarsia lechriosema (Gelechiidae) and Cryptaspasma pullata (Tortricidae). Illustrations of wing-patterns and figures of the male and female genitalia of the adults are given. Two of the species, I. celtiphaga and C. pullatana, are recorded also from New Caledonia.
